Why Join The Rotary Club of Aspen?
In 1905, Paul Harris formed the Rotary Club of Chicago, so professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, form meaningful, lifelong friendships, and give back to their communities.

Rotary has 29,000 Clubs in 194 countries around the world. Rotary is a 'service club,' and members provide service  to their community. Service Above Self and One Profits Most Who Serves Best are Rotary’s official mottoes. Rotary offers you the opportunity to do something good for someone else. Through the Rotary Foundation and the participation of other Rotary clubs, you will have the financial and logistic support to change lives.

Rotary is a cross-section of the world's most prominent citizens from every background. Rotarians become aware of their culture and learn to love and work with people everywhere. They become better citizens of their countries in the process.

Ethics
Rotarians recite the Four-Way test at every meeting and practice it in their professional and personal lives.
Of the things we think, say or do
  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

Fun and Educational
Each week, there is a program to keep you abreast of what is happening in your community. You learn how the local non-profits are using the financial support you give them, how to avoid avalanches, how limbs can be restored... The subjects abound and vary every week.
At every meeting, you get to spend time with friends! Rotarians are the nicest people!
Besides the weekly meetings, there are many other social events to spend time with your fellow Rotarians and have fun!
