1. Solar power. 2 rural schools in Kenya, servicing over 1,000 students now have power. Each school now has lighting in 4 classrooms and enough AC power to run 3-5 laptops for computer training daily.
2. Clean water for a community. New technology in solar pumps allowed us to replace a hand pump which supplied 15,00 liters of drinking water a day with a large solar pumping unit providing over 15,000 liters of clean water a day AND we were able to pump it 1km away to a medical clinic, which previously had to carry water from the hand pump in dirty 5 gal. buckets
3. Clean water for schools. 4 schools received rain water collection and storage tank systems to collect and store up to 5,000 liters of clean water for school needs.
